vac

Cleaner, for short

Vac is informal for vacuum cleaner or the act of vacuuming: I need to give the carpet a quick vac.

In British English, vac is also short for vacation, especially university breaks: What are you doing over the vac?

The American equivalent would be "break" or "vacation."
