Dedicated bus route
A transitway is a road or lane reserved exclusively for public transit vehicles, typically buses.
Unlike general traffic lanes, transitways allow buses to bypass congestion: The new transitway cut commute times by twenty minutes.
Some transitways are dedicated corridors; others are lanes on existing highways marked for buses only.
