tileset
Map building blocks
A tileset is a collection of small, uniform graphic images—tiles—used to construct larger visual elements in video games, digital maps, or other software.
Each tile typically represents a discrete piece of terrain, texture, or object that can be arranged on a grid to create complete scenes or levels.
Game developers and map makers use tilesets because they allow complex environments to be built efficiently from reusable components.
The RPG Maker community shares custom tilesets for different visual styles.
