Heatless ink device
A thermal printer produces images by selectively heating coated paper, which darkens where heat is applied.
Common in receipt printers, label makers, and older fax machines, thermal printers are quiet, fast, and have few moving parts.
The prints tend to fade over time, especially with heat or light exposure: Keep your receipts—thermal paper fades after a few months.
