tesla
Magnetic flux measure
A tesla is the SI unit of magnetic flux density, measuring the strength of magnetic fields.
One tesla equals one weber per square meter.
The unit is used in physics, engineering, and medical imaging—MRI machines typically operate at 1.5 to 3 teslas.
The Earth's magnetic field is about 50 microteslas. (Capitalized Tesla refers to the inventor or the car company.)
