weber
Flux measurement standard
Weber is a unit of magnetic flux in the International System of Units, named after German physicist Wilhelm Weber.
One weber equals the magnetic flux that, linking a circuit of one turn, produces an electromotive force of one volt when reduced to zero at a uniform rate in one second.
The unit appears in physics and electrical engineering contexts: The coil produced a flux of 0.5 webers. (Capitalized Weber is the surname.)
