supinator
Palm-up muscle mover
A supinator is a muscle that rotates a body part to face upward or forward.
The primary supinator runs from the elbow to the radius bone in the forearm, turning the palm upward when the arm is extended—the motion of holding a bowl of soup, which gives the action its name.
Overuse of the supinator can cause lateral elbow pain.
