supinations
Forearm twisting movements
Supinations are instances of turning the palm upward or rotating a limb outward.
In anatomy and physical therapy, supination describes the movement of the forearm that positions the palm facing up, opposite of pronation.
The term also applies to foot mechanics, where supination means rolling outward during walking or running: Runners with excessive supinations may need corrective footwear.
