subtree
Part of hierarchy
A subtree is a portion of a tree structure that is itself a complete tree.
In computing and mathematics, any node in a tree along with all its descendants forms a subtree: The left subtree contains all values less than the root.
The concept is fundamental to recursive algorithms that process hierarchical data.
