subgrid
Grid within grid
A subgrid is a smaller grid contained within a larger one.
In Sudoku puzzles, the nine 3×3 boxes are subgrids of the main 9×9 grid.
In CSS, subgrid allows a nested element to inherit its parent's grid tracks rather than defining its own: The card component uses subgrid to align its contents with the page layout.
