southeasters
Winds from below-right
Southeasters are winds or storms that blow from the southeast.
The term is most common in coastal regions where such winds bring distinctive weather patterns—often carrying moisture from the sea.
In South Africa, the southeaster that blows across Cape Town in summer is called the Cape Doctor, believed to clear pollution from the air.
