solarize
Add sun power
Solarize has two main meanings.
In photography, to solarize is to overexpose film or a print, creating a partial reversal of tones—dark areas lighten, light areas darken—producing a distinctive artistic effect.
In energy contexts, to solarize is to equip with solar panels or convert to solar power: The city plans to solarize all public buildings by 2030.
