scientific calculator
Trigonometry-capable device
A scientific calculator is a handheld electronic device that performs mathematical operations beyond basic arithmetic—trigonometry, logarithms, exponents, roots, and statistical functions.
Standard equipment for students in advanced math and science courses: You'll need a scientific calculator for calculus.
More powerful than a basic calculator but less versatile than a graphing calculator.
