ACT
SAT competitor exam
The ACT is a standardized college admissions test administered in the United States, an alternative to the SAT.
Originally an acronym for American College Testing, it now goes by the initials alone: She scored a 32 on the ACT. (Lowercase act is an action or a performance.)
