rivulets
Small flowing waters
Rivulets are small, narrow streams of water.
The word often describes rainwater trickling down surfaces or tiny channels carved into earth: Rivulets ran down the windowpane.
It extends to any thin flowing lines: Rivulets of sweat traced down his back.
The singular rivulet appears less frequently than the plural.
