rhombohedron
Six-faced slanted solid
A rhombohedron is a three-dimensional solid with six faces, each of which is a rhombus—a parallelogram with four equal sides.
It resembles a cube that has been skewed or pushed to one side, so that the angles are no longer right angles.
Rhombohedra appear in crystallography, where certain minerals naturally form this shape.
The calcite crystal displayed a perfect rhombohedron structure.
