parallelepiped
Slanted six-sided solid
A parallelepiped is a three-dimensional solid with six faces, each a parallelogram—essentially a skewed box.
Just as a parallelogram is a slanted rectangle, a parallelepiped is a slanted rectangular prism.
The term appears mainly in geometry and crystallography: Calculate the volume of the parallelepiped formed by these three vectors.
