Quick review session
A refresher is something that renews or restores—most often knowledge or skills that have grown rusty.
A refresher course reviews material previously learned.
The word also applies to anything that revives: a refreshing drink, a brief rest, or a quick review before a meeting.
In British legal usage, a refresher is an additional fee paid to a barrister during a prolonged case.
