drainer
Dish drying basket
A drainer is something that drains—a rack for drying dishes, a pipe for removing water, or a person who exhausts your energy or resources.
The last sense has gained currency: My ex was such a drainer.
In British slang, a drainer can also mean a final drink that empties a glass.
