redskin
Thin-skinned tuber variety
Redskin is an offensive term for a Native American, referring to skin color.
The word was used casually through the mid-20th century but is now widely recognized as a slur.
Its most visible use was as the name of Washington, D.C.'s NFL team until 2020, when public pressure forced a change.
