quarter round
Baseboard gap concealer
Quarter round is a molding with a cross-section shaped like a quarter of a circle.
It's commonly used in finish carpentry to cover gaps where walls meet floors or where two surfaces join at right angles: We installed quarter round along the baseboards after laying the new flooring.
The term also describes any convex molding with this profile.
