pulse rate
Heartbeats per minute
Pulse rate is the number of times the heart beats per minute, measured by feeling the rhythmic expansion of arteries—typically at the wrist or neck.
It's often used interchangeably with heart rate, though technically pulse rate is what you feel externally while heart rate is the actual cardiac rhythm.
The nurse checked my pulse rate after the stress test.
