propeller plane
Blade-driven aircraft
A propeller plane is an aircraft powered by one or more propellers—rotating blades that pull or push the craft through the air.
The term distinguishes these from jet aircraft, which use turbine engines.
Most small private aircraft and many regional commuters are propeller planes: We took a propeller plane to the island.
