prenups
Pre-wedding legal agreements
Prenups is the informal plural of prenuptial agreement—a contract between partners before marriage specifying how assets and debts will be divided if the marriage ends.
Once associated mainly with the wealthy, prenups have become more common: Their lawyers are still negotiating the prenups.
The singular prenup appears more frequently than the plural.
