prana

Yogic vital energy

Prana is the vital life force or breath in Hindu philosophy, believed to permeate all living things.

The concept appears in yoga and Ayurvedic medicine, where breathing exercises (pranayama) aim to control and direct this energy: Deep breathing helps circulate prana through the body.

Similar to the Chinese concept of qi.
