Waist-high barrier wall
A pony wall is a short wall that doesn't extend to the ceiling, typically three to four feet high.
Pony walls divide spaces without fully enclosing them—separating a kitchen from a living room, or defining a stairwell.
They're also called half walls or knee walls: We added a pony wall to create a breakfast nook.
