Fear of performing

Performance anxiety is nervousness or fear about one's ability to perform a task successfully, especially when being observed or evaluated.

The term applies broadly—to athletes before competition, musicians before concerts, students before exams—but often refers specifically to sexual anxiety about one's ability to perform in bed: He couldn't get it up; classic performance anxiety.
