exhibitionism
Need for attention
Exhibitionism is the compulsion to expose one's body, especially the genitals, to others without their consent—a recognized psychiatric disorder and criminal offense.
More broadly, it describes any attention-seeking behavior designed to attract notice: His constant interruptions were pure exhibitionism.
The term applies equally to flashers in raincoats and performers who crave the spotlight.
