Portable inflatable kayak
A packraft is a lightweight, portable inflatable boat designed to be carried in a backpack for wilderness travel.
Weighing as little as two pounds, packrafts allow hikers and adventurers to cross rivers, lakes, and other waterways that would otherwise block their route.
The boats fold down small enough to fit in a pack when deflated, then inflate quickly when needed.
We brought packrafts to cross the glacial rivers in Alaska.
Packrafting has grown as a backcountry pursuit that combines hiking with paddling.
