pH meter
Electrode-based acidity reader
A pH meter is an electronic instrument that measures the acidity or alkalinity of a solution, giving a reading on a scale from 0 (most acidic) to 14 (most alkaline), with 7 being neutral.
More precise than litmus paper or other chemical indicators, pH meters are standard equipment in laboratories, water treatment facilities, and food production: The technician dipped the pH meter into the sample.
