overscroll
Past the edge
Overscroll is the behavior when you scroll past the edge of content on a touchscreen or trackpad.
The screen may bounce back, stretch, or reveal a refresh indicator.
This elastic effect, pioneered by Apple, signals you've reached the end: Pull down to overscroll and refresh your feed.
As a noun, it names this visual feedback itself.
