ordinate
Y-axis measured distance
In mathematics, an ordinate is the vertical coordinate in a two-dimensional system—the y-value that tells you how far up or down a point sits from the horizontal axis.
It pairs with the abscissa (the x-value) to locate any point on a plane: The ordinate of the point (3, 7) is 7.
