olivewood
Grain from groves
Olivewood is the wood of the olive tree, prized for its distinctive grain patterns and warm, honey-brown color with darker streaks.
Dense and hard, it's used for decorative objects, cutting boards, utensils, and small furniture pieces: an olivewood salad bowl, olivewood beads.
The wood takes a high polish and has natural antibacterial properties.
