Spinning martial projectile
A ninja star is a small, flat, multi-pointed throwing weapon associated with Japanese martial arts, also called a shuriken.
The points radiate from the center like a star, typically four to eight of them.
Ninja stars appear constantly in action movies and video games, though their historical use was more limited than pop culture suggests: He bought a set of ninja stars at the mall kiosk.
