napa cabbage
Oblong Asian green
Napa cabbage is a variety of Chinese cabbage with an elongated head of tightly packed, pale green to white leaves with thick, crisp ribs.
The leaves are milder and more tender than common round cabbage, making it standard in Asian cuisines—particularly for kimchi, stir-fries, and dumpling fillings: Add the napa cabbage in the last few minutes so it doesn't get too soft.
