multidimensional

Having multiple aspects

Multidimensional means having or involving multiple dimensions.

In mathematics and physics, it describes spaces or objects with more than three dimensions: multidimensional geometry.

More commonly, it describes things with many aspects or layers of complexity: a multidimensional character, a multidimensional problem.

The word often signals depth or nuance—that something can't be reduced to simple terms.
