microhemorrhage

Minute vascular leak

A microhemorrhage is a tiny bleed, typically in the brain, often too small to cause obvious symptoms but detectable on specialized imaging.

Multiple microhemorrhages may indicate underlying conditions like high blood pressure, cerebral amyloid angiopathy, or small vessel disease.

Also spelled microhaemorrhage in British English.
