long-player
Full-length vinyl disc
A long-player is a vinyl record designed to play at 33⅓ revolutions per minute, typically holding 20-25 minutes of music per side—hence "long" compared to earlier 78 rpm records.
The term is largely historical now, replaced by LP or album: Their debut long-player topped the charts for six weeks.
