EP
Not quite album
An EP is an extended play record or recording—longer than a single but shorter than a full album, typically containing three to six tracks: Their debut EP dropped last month.
The format originated with vinyl records but now applies to digital releases.
Artists often use EPs to bridge gaps between albums or test new sounds. (Lowercase ep appears in informal usage.)
