left lobe
Liver's smaller portion
The left lobe is the portion of an organ—typically the brain, liver, lung, or thyroid—situated on the left side of the body.
In anatomy, organs are often divided into lobes for descriptive purposes: The tumor was located in the left lobe of the liver.
The left lobe of the brain controls the right side of the body and, in most people, handles language and logical processing.
