lefty
Not right-handed
Lefty is an informal term for a left-handed person, or for someone whose political views lean left—that is, toward liberal or progressive positions.
In sports, a lefty pitcher or batter uses their left hand dominantly.
The political sense carries mild dismissiveness when used by opponents: The talk show host blamed lefties for the policy change.
Context usually makes clear whether handedness or politics is meant.
