landside
Furrow's flat guide
Landside refers to the part of an airport accessible to the general public—ticket counters, check-in areas, and arrival halls—as opposed to airside, which requires passing through security.
The term also has an older agricultural meaning: the flat side of a plow that presses against the unplowed ground, opposite the moldboard.
