airside
Past the checkpoint
Airside refers to the secure area of an airport beyond passport control and security screening, where passengers access gates and board aircraft.
It contrasts with landside, the publicly accessible areas before security: Once you're airside, there's better shopping.
The term also functions as an adjective or adverb: airside operations, We'll meet you airside.
