Winter roof spike
An icicle is a hanging spike of ice formed when dripping water freezes.
Icicles typically form along roof edges, cliff faces, or other surfaces where meltwater drips and refreezes in cold air.
They taper to a point and can grow quite long: Icicles hung from the eaves like daggers.
