hubbing
Routing through center
Hubbing is traveling through a central location to reach multiple destinations, the way airline routes pass through hub cities: We're hubbing through Atlanta to visit three Southern states.
In manufacturing, hubbing is a metalworking process that creates cavities by pressing a hardened steel form into softer metal.
The word also describes creating connections through a central point, as in networking or logistics.
