heaver

One who hoists

A heaver is someone or something that heaves—lifts, throws, or hauls heavy objects.

The term appears in compound forms describing specific roles: a coal heaver loads coal, an anchor heaver works the ship's anchor.

In casual use, any person doing strenuous lifting might be called a heaver: We need a few more heavers to get this piano upstairs.
