Wrestling neck squeeze
A headlock is a wrestling hold in which one person wraps an arm around another's head and neck, trapping it against their body.
It's used in competitive wrestling, martial arts, and playground scuffles alike: He got me in a headlock and wouldn't let go.
Figuratively, to have someone in a headlock is to have them trapped or at a disadvantage.
