headload
Skull-balanced cargo
A headload is a burden carried on the head, common in parts of Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean where people transport goods without vehicles or carts: Women walked miles with headloads of firewood.
The term appears in development economics and anthropology discussing traditional labor and transport methods.
To headload is to carry something this way.
