gun-free
Weapons not allowed
Gun-free describes a place where firearms are prohibited: a gun-free zone, gun-free schools.
The term appears in policy debates about whether such restrictions reduce violence or leave people defenseless.
The campus is designated gun-free, but enforcement is another matter.
