open-carry
Unconcealed weapon transport
Open-carry refers to the legal practice of carrying a firearm visibly in public, as opposed to concealed carry where the weapon is hidden.
The term appears most often in discussions of U.S. gun laws, which vary by state: Texas is an open-carry state.
